What's new?

The midsole has received more cushioning in the heel, which provides an increased drop of 8 mm and gentler load on the calves. In addition, a softer foam material is used for an even more comfortable feel with every step. The shoe also has a slightly wider fit with a roomier toe box – perfect for long runs or those with slightly wider feet.

Safety and comfort

The upper in thin, breathable mesh keeps the foot cool and comfortable even on warm days, while the padding around the ankle provides a enveloping and secure feeling. The heel cap features HOKA's well-known anatomical Achilles construction - easy to put on and take off and gentle on the Achilles tendon.

Grip in all environments

The outsole has been given a major upgrade - a new rubber compound for better friction and redesigned studs for increased grip on uneven terrain. This makes the Challenger 8 ready for all types of surfaces, from city streets to forest trails.
